theScore, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended February 28, 2015. For the quarter, the company announced revenue was CAD 3,219,000 compared to CAD 1,914,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating loss was CAD 3,052,000 compared to CAD 976,000 for the same period a year ago. Net and comprehensive loss was CAD 2,845,000 compared to CAD 950,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss per share, basic and diluted was CAD 0.01 compared to CAD 0.00 for the same period a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA loss for the three month period was CAD 1.9 million compared to CAD 0.7 million in the same period in the prior year, an increase of CAD 1.2 million.
For the six months, the company announced revenue was CAD 6,265,000 compared to CAD 4,044,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating loss was CAD 5,132,000 compared to CAD 4,056,000 for the same period a year ago. Net and comprehensive loss was CAD 4,860,000 compared to CAD 3,997,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss per share, basic and diluted was CAD 0.02 compared to CAD 0.02 for the same period a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was CAD 3,715,000 compared to CAD 4,643,000 for the same period a year ago. Additions of property and equipment were CAD 316,000 compared to CAD 248,000 for the same period a year ago. Additions of intangible assets were CAD 1,583,000 compared to CAD 921,000 for the same period a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA loss for the six month period was CAD 3.4 million compared to CAD 3.0 million in the same period in the prior year, an increase of CAD 0.4 million.

theScore, Inc. brought the ultimate mobile eSports experience to the App Store with the launch of theScore eSports on iOS. Debuting on Android last month, the launch of theScore eSports made global headlines (Forbes, Gigaom, Mashable, The Next Web) by giving fans of competitive gaming an app for breaking news, live scores, stats, push alerts and links to video highlights and streams from across the world of eSports. To mark the iOS launch, theScore eSports was unveiled as the official coverage partner of ESL for the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship.
