Shopping Centres Australasia Property Group (ASX:SCP) priced a six-year $175 million medium term note. Funds will be received from issue of notes on April 20, 2015. Proceeds of notes will be used to repay bank debt and to fund further acquisitions.

SCA Property Group Announces Earnings Results for the Six Months Ended December 31, 2014; Upgrades Distributable Earnings Guidance for the Fiscal Year 2015

SCA Property Group announced earnings results for the six months ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company reported statutory net profit after tax of AUD 98.2 million against AUD 43.0 million, up by 128.4% on the same period last year. This was supported by positive revaluations of property portfolio and derivatives portfolio. Excluding these and other non-cash items, Funds from operations was AUD 37.8 million against AUD 33.6 million, up 12.5% on the same period last year. Key drivers of this strong performance were the reduction in specialty vacancy levels, acquisitions, completed developments and lower cost of debt. Revenue was up 10.1% to AUD 85.8 million from AUD 77.9 million a year ago. Distributable earnings improved 4.1% to AUD 41.1 million or 6.3 cents per security from AUD 39.5 million or 6.1 cents per security a year ago. Earnings before interest and tax were AUD 116.2 million against AUD 56.9 million a year ago. Net profit before tax was AUD 99.2 million against AUD 44.2 million a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was AUD 44.7 million against AUD 35.7 million a year ago. Payments for investment properties purchased were AUD 112.5 million against AUD 160.1 million a year ago. Payments for other assets were AUD 2.4 million against nil a year ago. Adjusted funds from operations were 37.1 million against AUD 39.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per security were 15.1 cents against 6.7 cents a year ago. The company upgraded distributable earnings guidance for the fiscal year 2015. The company is increasing distributable earnings guidance to 12.6 cents per unit from 12.5 cents per unit.
