ShawCor Ltd., an energy services company, provides products and services for the pipeline, pipe services, petrochemical, and industrial segments of the oil and gas industry, and other industrial markets worldwide. It operates in eight divisions: Bredero Shaw, Canusa-CPS, Shaw Pipeline Services, Flexpipe Systems, Socotherm, Guardian, DSGCanusa, and ShawFlex divisions. The Bredero Shaw division offers specialized internal anticorrosion and flow efficiency pipe coating systems, insulation coating systems, weight coating systems, and custom coating and field joint application services. The Canusa-CPS division manufactures heat-shrinkable sleeves, adhesives, sealants, and liquid coatings for corrosion protection on onshore and off shore pipelines. The Shaw Pipeline Services division provides ultrasonic and radiographic pipeline girth weld inspection services to pipeline operators and construction contractors. The Flexpipe Systems division manufactures spoolable composite pipe systems used for oil and gas gathering, water disposal, carbon dioxide injection pipelines, and other applications. The Guardian division offers a range of tubular management services, including inventory management systems, and mobile inspection and inplant inspection; and the refurbishment and rethreading of drill pipe, production tubing, and casing. The Socotherm division provides specialized thermal insulation coatings, anticorrosion coatings, internal coatings, and concrete weight coatings for pipelines. The DSG-Canusa division manufactures heat-shrinkable products, such as thin, medium, and heavy-walled tubing, sleeves, and molded products, as well as heat-shrink accessories and equipment. The ShawFlex division offers wire and cable for control, instrumentation, thermocouple, power, marine, and robotics applications. The company was formerly known as Shaw Industries Ltd. and changed its name to ShawCor Ltd. in 2001. ShawCor Ltd. was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
