Saab to Deliver Additional RBS 70 Systems to an Undisclosed Customer

Saab has secured a contract to supply Robotsystem (RBS) 70 very-short-range air defence systems (VSHORAD) to an undisclosed customer. Saab has secured a contract to supply Robotsystem (RBS) 70 very-short-range air defence systems (VSHORAD) to an undisclosed customer. Under the SEK 270 million ($32.6 million) contract, the Swedish defence and security company will supply an unspecified number of RBS 70 missiles, as well as additional equipment and training. Deliveries under the contract are scheduled to take place between 2015 and 2016. The company did not disclose the customer's identity and additional contract details citing a confidentiality agreement with the customer.

SAAB Receives Order for Spare Parts for Gripen E

Saab has received an order for spare parts for Gripen E from the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV). The order is part of the Gripen E framework agreement which was signed between Saab and FMV in February 2013. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 250 million and the order was booked as order intake in the second quarter of 2015. The order comprises spare parts, such as components and devices, for Gripen E. Delivery is expected to take place in conjunction with initial aircraft delivery.

Saab Receives Order for Underwater Systems

Saab announced that it has received an order on deliveries of underwater systems. The total order value amounts to approximately SEK 429 million. The order was booked as order intake in the second quarter 2015. The company has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of underwater systems for both the military and commercial markets.
