Rogue Resources Inc. Completes Airborne Mag Survey

Rogue Resources Inc. announced that it continues to advance the Lac de la Grosse Femelle Property, located approximately 95 km northeast of Quebec City, and adjacent to the Mine Sitec silica mine, in operation for the past 50 years. Airborne Heli-MAG geophysics surveys were flown over the Femelle Project on December 7, 2014, consisting of 316.5 line km of north-northwest oriented flight lines spaced at 100 m. The helicopter-borne radio-magnetometric geophysics survey was conducted by Geophysics GPR International Inc. The objective of this first phase exploration program of airborne geophysics was to better define the widths, attitudes and strike length of the east-northeast trending quartzites. A follow-up airborne VLF (very low frequency) geophysical survey to further define the quartzite units will be undertaken within the next several weeks and upon compilation will form the basis of conducting surface exploration. Following the compilation of the VLF airborne data, and when ground conditions permit, line cutting, surface geological mapping and sampling of the quartzites at surface and at depths of 6 m to 12 m will commence. The work at surface is expected to begin in early May with a priority to define the high purity silica zones along the quartzites of the ‘G’ quartzite unit as well as localizing the quartzites of the ‘D’ quartzite unit. Results from surface mapping and sampling will be used to guide the upcoming drill program on the quartzites as well as for identifying new quartzite targets. The airborne Heli-Mag survey produced total field magnetic and vertical gradient geophysics maps of the area. The samples collected in the quartzite unit ‘G’ by Geologica Groupe-Conseil Inc., of Val d'Or, Quebec, occur on the southern margin of the lower magnetic expression. The samples assaying 99% or better in silica are associated with lower magnetic expressions and define widths of approximately 125 m, strike lengths of over 1 km and illustrates that the quartzites dip to the northwest. The quartzite unit ‘D’ located 690 m southeast of the quartzite ‘G’ unit also flanks the north side of the magnetic anomaly and extends east-northeast a strike length of over 1 km. Ongoing discussions with a number of producing and past producing silica mine operators and owners has begun as well as sourcing potential buyers for silica. The company continues its community consultations in the region with the various local groups (MRC de Charlevoix, MRC de Charlevoix Est, MRNQ in La Malbaie, the Mairie de St.Urbain, and Zec des Martes).

Rogue Resources Samples Up to 99.54% SiO2, Identifies 1.1 Km Strike Length on One of Two Quartzite Occurrences on Recently Acquired Quebec Silica Project

Rogue Resources Inc. announced that exploration has commenced on the Lac de la Grosse Femelle property, located approximately 95 kilometers northeast of Quebec City. Geochemical sampling was completed on the Femelle Project in September 2014, by Geologica Inc., of Val d'Or, Quebec. Of twenty two samples taken, fifteen surface samples of white quartzites were collected within one of the two quartzite units located on the property. Six of the fifteen samples returned oxide assays ranging between 99.09 to a high of 99.54% SiO2, 0.17 to 0.59% Al2O3, 0.07 to 0.12% Fe2O3, and 0.02 to 0.12% TiO2, with the other nine samples returning oxide assays of 97.61 to a high of 98.94% SiO2. The quartzite unit was also sampled on strike a distance of 1.1 km east-northeast of the southeast sample site with quartzite samples returning oxide assays of 97.61% to a high of 98.66% SiO2, 0.76 to 0.9% Al2O3, 0.16 to 0.2% Fe2O3, and 0.06 to 0.07% TiO2. An airborne Heli-MAG survey was flown over the quartzites of the Femelle Project on December 7, 2014, with preliminary maps and reports to follow. The survey consisted of 321 km of north-northwest oriented flight lines spaced at 100 meters, in an effort to better define under-exposed quartzite on the project. A comprehensive Phase I exploration plan for 2015 is in the process of being developed and will be released pending the geo-compilation of the air-borne Mag survey. Determining the width and strike length of the two northeast oriented quartzites through mapping and sampling will be one of the Company's first priorities.
