RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings and operating results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue of $44,207,000 compared to $41,880,000 a year ago. Operating income was $15,323,000 compared to $12,656,000 a year ago. Income before provision for income taxes was $11,278,000 compared to $9,683,000 a year ago. Net income was $9,130,000 compared to $7,798,000 a year ago. Net income attributable to the company of $2,751,000 compared to $2,408,000 a year ago. Diluted net income per share was $0.22 compared to $0.20 a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was $14,419,000 compared to $12,495,000 a year ago. Purchases of property, equipment and software were $335,000 compared to $452,000 a year ago. Capitalization of trademark costs was $23,000 compared to $25,000 a year ago. EBITDA was $17,831,000 compared to $16,006,000 a year ago. The company provided earnings and operating guidance for the second quarter and full year of 2015. For the quarter, the company announced that agent count is estimated to increase by 4.5% to 5% over second quarter 2014. Revenue is estimated to increase by 2.5% to 3.5% over second quarter 2014 after adjusting for the sale of the six owned brokerage offices. Selling, operating and administrative expenses are estimated to be 47% to 49% of second quarter 2015 revenue; and Adjusted EBITDA margin is estimated to be in the 52% to 53% range. For the full year, the company announced that the agent count is estimated to increase by 4% to 5% over 2014. Revenue is estimated to increase by 1% to 2% over 2014 after adjusting for the sale of the six owned brokerage offices. Adjusted EBITDA margin is estimated to be in the 49% to 50% range. Total capital expenditures of $3.5 to $4.0 million including project related capital expenditures of $2.0 to $2.5 million; and Project related operating expenditures of approximately $3.0 million.
