Repsol, S.A., an integrated energy company, engages in upstream and downstream activities worldwide. The company is involved in the exploration, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas; transportation of oil products, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and natural gas; refining and production of a range of oil products; and retail of oil products, oil derivatives, petrochemicals, LPG, and natural gas. It also engages in the generation, transportation, distribution, and supply of electricity. The company offers asphalts; specialized products; petrol, gas oils, fuel oils, and petcoke; butane and propane gases; lubricants; petrochemicals, glycols, polypropylene, rubber, polyethylene, polyols, and propylenes; AutoGas, an alternative to traditional fuels; cards for businesses; vehicle maintenance; and marine services, as well as other products and services. Repsol Mulls Sale Of Petrol Pumps In Peru

Repsol, S.A. (CATS:REP) is planning to sell assets. The company has called for a shareholders meeting on September 17, 2015 to discuss the sale of its 374 petrol pumps in Peru. Repsol shall use the funds from proceeds to upgrade La Pampilla oil refinery. Initially, Repsol tried to sell the network and La Pampilla and Solgas oil refineries in 2013, but it abandoned such plans after receiving offers below its own expectations afterwards.

Repsol Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and First Half Ended June 2015; Reports Production Results for Second Quarter of 2015; Provides Earnings and Production Outlook for the Year 2015

Repsol reported earnings results for the second quarter and first half ended June 2015. For the quarter, the company’s net profit tumbled nearly 44% to EUR 292 million ($320 million) after exceptional boosts in 2014. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebita) rose in the second quarter of 2015 by 38.6% to EUR 1.42 billion. The company recorded surging profits of EUR 973 million from its downstream refining and chemicals activities. Adjusted net income was EUR 312 million. The group's net financial debt at the end of the second quarter of 2015 amounted to EUR 13.3 billion, an increase of EUR 31.1 billion compared to the end of the first quarter 2015, due to the payment of the acquisition of Talisman and the consolidation of its debt. For the six months, the company’s adjusted net income was EUR 1.2 billion. The average production for the quarter stood at 525,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. This figure is 55% higher year-on-year. For the full year, the company expects a 6% production increase on average on a homogeneous basis. The company expects to achieve an EBITDA between EUR 5 billion and EUR 5.5 billion for the full year.

Repsol Mulls Sale Of Asset

Repsol, S.A. (CATS:REP) is planning to sell assets. Chief Financial Officer, Miguel Martinez said that the company will only sell its stake in Gas Natural ifit is absolutely necessary to keep an investment grade credit rating further.
