Remy introduced the 38MT+ gear reduction starter in January 2015. Designed to fit the Paccar MX 11 and 13-liter engines, the 38MT+ is 4% lighter and cranks 4% faster than the competition significant improvements given the advanced technology that powers modern rotating electrics. Features include: Integrated Over Crank Protection (IOCP) is a built-in circuit breaker that protects the starter from thermal damage and automatically resets operating temperature while eliminating the need for a wiring harness.
