The company offers savings and investment products through a network of deposit brokers and financial advisors, such as guaranteed investment certificates, registered retirement savings plans, savings, and tax-free savings accounts. Its loan portfolio consists of government financings, residential multi-family mortgages, commercial and consumer loans and leases, commercial mortgages, and consumer lending. The company provides public sector financing for projects, such as recreational facilities, water pipelines, waste disposal facilities, power lines, health care facilities, and early childhood education centers; and lease financing for equipment, including photocopiers, medical equipment and computers, fire trucks, buses, and street sweepers. It also offers direct and indirect financing packages to municipal and other local governments; hospitals; school boards; colleges and universities; crown corporations; and federal, provincial, and territorial government organizations. In addition, the company provides capital and operating lease financing; construction financing; debt structure options comprising term loans and mortgages; debentures for public sector organizations; indirect recourse financing for public-private partnerships; and advisory services. Further, it offers corporate financing products and services, such as loans and leases, a vendor support program, an automated receivable purchasing program, and a bulk finance program; real estate financing to real estate developers and condominium corporations; and private label credit card services. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in London, Canada. Pacific & Western Bank of Canada is a subsidiary of PWC Capital Inc.

For the quarter, the company reported net interest income of CAD 7.61 million compared to CAD 6.90 million a year ago. Total revenue was CAD 8.40 million compared to CAD 7.22 million a year ago. Net income available to common shareholders was CAD 2.48 million or CAD 0.13 per basic and diluted share compared to net income available to common shareholders of CAD 190,000 or CAD 0.01 per basic and diluted share a year ago.
