Prologis, L.P. to Establish ¥55 Billion Unsecured Senior Term Loan Facility

Prologis, Inc. announced it has received commitments for more than ¥55 billion unsecured senior term loan facility. The yen-denominated facility will mature in 2022. As of May 21, 2015, the weighted average interest rate would be approximately 1.2% based on Japanese LIBOR plus 110 basis points at the company's current credit rating. The facility is expected to close in June and is subject to customary closing conditions. The facility will be the company's third significant capital markets transaction since its April 2015 announcement of a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of KTR Capital Partners and its affiliates. The cumulative principal amount of the three financing transactions will total more than $2.2 billion with a weighted average rate of approximately 1.3% under the applicable LIBOR rates as of May 21, 2015 and a weighted average term of 4.8 years assuming the exercise of extensions at Prologis' option.

Clipper Logistics Signs an Agreement with Prologis

Clipper Logistics has signed an agreement with Prologis to lease 342,622ft2 of distribution space at Prologis Grange Park in Northampton in the UK. Clipper has taken the new building to operate its contract with Inditex. At Prologis Grange Park, Clipper will manage the distribution of all Zara's online sales in the UK, bringing up to 1,000 jobs to Northampton. The distribution centre, which Prologis built speculatively, completed in March 2015. Prologis is working with Clipper Logistics to secure planning permission for works on the internal fit-out and it is anticipated that the building will be fully operational by autumn 2015.

Prologis, Inc. Receives Commitments for $1.0 Billion Unsecured Senior Term Loan Facility

Prologis, Inc. announced it has received commitments for a $1.0 billion unsecured senior term loan facility. The facility will mature in May 2017, assuming the exercise of a one-year extension at Prologis' option. As of May 14, 2015, the weighted average interest rate would be 1.2%, based on LIBOR plus 100 basis points at the company's current credit rating. The facility is anticipated to close at the end of May and is subject to customary closing conditions. In connection with closing the term facility, Prologis will cancel the commitments to fund its previously announced bridge loan. The term facility will be the company's second significant financing, with a cumulative principal amount of approximately $1.8 billion, since its April 2015 announcement of its definitive agreement to acquire the assets of KTR Capital Partners and its affiliates.
