Plastics Capital plc, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacture, sale, and export of plastic products. The company operates in two segments, Packaging and Industrial products. It offers nylon mandrels for use by the manufacturers of hydraulic and other industrial hoses; specialist films; and anti-slip stair treads, inserts, and nosings for use in commercial and public buildings, as well as provides wire and wire rope coating services with various plastics materials. The company also provides plastic rotating parts, including bearings, gears, shafts, and bushes for business machinery, water and leisure, electrical and security, automotive industry, and traditional product applications. In addition, it offers creasing matrix, a consumable plastic strip used in the manufacture of cardboard boxes, cards, point of sale materials, and packaging products; and secondary products, such as ejection rubbers and other printing accessories. Further, the company provides films, bags, liner sheets, and covers to a range of manufacturing and processing industries under the Palastrong and Nylastrong brand names. Plastics Capital plc exports its products to 80 countries worldwide. The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Plastics Capital plc Proposes Final Dividend for the Year Ended March 31, 2015, Payable on August 28, 2015; Reports Audited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Year Ended March 31, 2015

Plastics Capital plc announced that it intends to pay the final dividend of 2.67 pence to all shareholders on August 28, 2015 in respect of the year ended March 31, 2015. The record date for the dividend is August 7, 2015 and the associated ex-dividend date is August 6, 2015. The company reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2015. For the year, the company reported revenue of GBP 39,576,000 against GBP 32,456,000 a year ago. Operating profit was GBP 1,511,000 against GBP 1,539,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was GBP 148,000 against profit before tax of GBP 1,035,000 a year ago. Loss for the year attributable to equity shareholders of the company was GBP 250,000 or 0.8 pence per basic and diluted share against profit for the year attributable to equity shareholders of the company of GBP 879,000 or 3.2 pence per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net debt was GBP 11,400,000 as on March 31, 2015 against GBP 7,170,000 as on March 31, 2014. Net cash inflow from operating activities was GBP 3,336,000 against GBP 3,395,000 a year ago. Adjusted earnings per share were 10.8 pence against 1.1 pence a year ago. The decrease in capital expenditure arose because significant investment was made in fiscal year 2014 to increase its capacity and capabilities across for future growth.

In addition there are opportunities for complementary acquisitions in this area which we have started to explore.”
