The company’s Supply Chain Services segment provides its members with access to medical and surgical products, pharmaceuticals, laboratory supplies, capital equipment, information technology, facilities and construction, food and nutritional products, and purchased services; ASCEND Collaborative for members to receive group purchasing programs, tiers, and prices; and software as a service (SaaS) informatics products, as well as operates specialty pharmacy. Its Performance Services segment offers PremierConnect that integrates the continuum of data to facilitate performance improvement; QualityAdvisor for clinical comparative database; PhysicianFocus for physicians to access their performance data; Quality Measures Reporter, a performance measuring and reporting solution; and SafetyAdvisor that allows health systems to coordinate care, and improve patient safety. This segment also provides Supply Chain Advisor, an online automated contract management system; SupplyFocus to offer benchmarking on supply chain indicators for acute care facilities; Supply Analytics to take cost out of their supply chain; Catalog Management to maintain quality item data and up-to-date contract pricing; EXPRESSBuy that offers savings beyond regular contract pricing; and ValueAdvisor that automates the value analysis process. Premier, Inc. Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended December 31, 2014; Revises Earnings Guidance for the Full Year 2015

Premier, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net revenue of $249.45 million compared to $208.91 million a year ago. Net income attributable to shareholders was $9.27 million compared to $6.40 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $70.08 million compared to $65.76 million a year ago. Net loss attributable to shareholders after adjustment of redeemable limited partners' capital to redemption amount was $32.98 million or $0.93 per diluted share compared to $3,713.41 million or $114.70 per diluted share a year ago. Operating income was $65.67 million compared to $61.25 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $98.808 million compared to $83.405 million a year ago. Non-GAAP pro forma adjusted fully distributed income before income taxes was $86.884 million compared to $74.071 million a year ago. Non-GAAP pro forma adjusted fully distributed income was $52.13 million or $0.36 per diluted share compared to $44.44 million or $0.31 per diluted share a year ago. Free cash flow for the fiscal second quarter ended December 31, 2014 was $67.1 million, compared with $45.4 million for the same period a year ago. Consolidated net revenue increasing by 19%, driven by 19% growth in supply chain services revenue and a 20% gain in performance services revenue. Consolidated adjusted EBITDA increased 18% and adjusted fully distributed earnings per share also rose 18%. For the six months, the company reported net revenue of $478.75 million compared to $449.49 million a year ago. Net income attributable to shareholders was $18.54 million compared to $5.93 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $140.78 million compared to $179.05 million a year ago. Net loss attributable to shareholders after adjustment of redeemable limited partners' capital to redemption amount was $406.36 million or $11.96 per diluted share compared to $3,713.88 million or $195.46 per diluted share a year ago. Operating income was $131.81 million compared to $170.20 million a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was $153.715 million compared to $198.518 million a year ago. Purchases of property and equipment were $32.41 million compared to $26.02 million a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $189.33 million compared to $166.48 million a year ago. Non-GAAP pro forma adjusted fully distributed income before income taxes was $166.49 million compared to $149.22 million a year ago. Non-GAAP pro forma adjusted fully distributed income was $99.90 million or $0.69 per diluted share compared to $89.53 million or $0.62 per diluted share a year ago. Non-GAAP free cash flow was $67.10 million compared to $45.36 million a year ago. The high level of free cash flow relative to adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter is largely attributable to the strong performance in Supply Chain Services segment. The company revised earnings guidance for the full year ending June 30, 2015. For the year, the company expects total net revenue in the range of $974.0 million to $1,000 million, Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA in the range of $382.0 million to $390.0 million and Non-GAAP adjusted fully distributed EPS in the range of $1.40 to $1.44 compared to previous guidance of total net revenue in the range of $969.0 million to $995.0 million, Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA in the range of $379.0 million to $390.0 million and Non-GAAP adjusted fully distributed EPS in the range of $1.39 to $1.44. The increase in consolidated net revenue range is driven by the improved outlook for Supply Chain Services segment based on a combination of the same factors that drove second quarter and first half performance.
