The company owns, franchises, and invests in various store formats, such as hypermarkets, supermarkets, and clothing stores under the Pick n Pay, Boxer, Boxer Punch, and Boxer Build brands, which offer groceries, clothing, general merchandise, footwear, and building and hardware supplies. It also operates Pick n Pay Express stores, which provide quick meal solutions; and Pick n Pay liquor stores and Boxer Superliquors stores that offer a range of beers, cider, fruit alcoholic beverages, wines, fortified wines, and spirits, as well as operates 24 pharmacies. The company operates 1076 stores comprising 643 company-owned stores and 433 franchise stores in six southern African countries; and 52 stores in Zimbabwe. Pick n Pay Stores Limited also offers online shopping; and acquires and develops retail and distribution sites. The company was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa. Pick n Pay Stores Limited is a subsidiary of Pick n Pay Holdings Limited RF.

Diluted earnings per share was 53.52 cents against 39.69 cents a year ago. Headline diluted earnings per share was 53.12 cents against 40.45 cents a year ago.
