Polaris Infrastructure Inc., a renewable energy company, acquires, explores for, develops, and operates geothermal energy projects in North and South America. The company owns and operates the San Jacinto project, a 72 megawatt geothermal facility that covers an area of 40 square kilometers located in northwest Nicaragua. Its development properties include the Casita project comprising an exploration concession with an area of 100 square kilometers located in northwest Nicaragua. The company’s exploration and development properties comprise the Orita project located in Imperial County, California; and the Clayton Valley project that consists of approximately 82,496 acres of land in 7 individual lease blocks located in Esmeralda County, Nevada. Its other geothermal exploration properties consist of Delcer Butte, Reese River, and Barren Hills in Nevada; New River and Keystone in Southern California; and South Meager Creek in British Columbia. The company was formerly known as Ram Power, Corp. and changed its name to Polaris Infrastructure Inc. in May 2015. Polaris Infrastructure Inc. is based in Reno, Nevada.

Polaris Infrastructure Inc. announced that Shane Downey has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Downey complements Polaris' existing management team with broad expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and accounting, and will provide strategic input as the company embarks on its growth strategy, including a new drilling program aimed at increasing production at San Jacinto. In his new role, Mr. Downey will be taking over for Ashlee Carter, who has transitioned to a consultancy role for the company. Mr. Downey was most recently Managing Director with Bank of Montreal, Corporate Finance, where he provided strategic guidance and a full range of debt product solutions to corporate and private equity clients.
