The company was founded in 1938 and is based in Waterloo, Australia.

OrotonGroup Limited reported consolidated earnings results for the half year ended January 24, 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue of AUD 66.8 million against AUD 62.9 million a year ago. EBITDA was AUD 7.1 million against AUD 10.7 million a year ago. Reported EBIT was AUD 4.5 million against AUD 8.0 million a year ago. Underlying EBIT was AUD 4.8 million against AUD 8.0 million a year ago. NPAT was AUD 2.2 million against AUD 5.1 million a year ago. EPS were 5.4 cents against 12.4 cents a year ago. Payments for property, plant and equipment was AUD 6.644 million against AUD 2.068 million a year ago. Payments for software were AUD 0.307 million against AUD 0.317 million a year ago. Net debt position of AUD 5.6 million at half year end due to initial investment in the launch of the Brooks brothers Brand and new stores in GAP AUD 7.0 million capital expenditure. Profit before income tax expense was AUD 4.158 million against AUD 8.002 million a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was AUD 3.271 million against net cash from operating activities of AUD 10.722 million a year ago. The company expects modest EBIT growth for second half of fiscal year 2015 through continued traction with Oroton brand strategy, like for like sales growth and margin improvement.
