The company offers mobile, fixed-line, and carrier services; sells mobile devices and accessories; and sells and rents fixed-line equipment. It also provides legacy and mature network services; platform services comprising customer relationship management, messaging, hosting, cloud computing, and machine-to-machine services; and collaborative services, as well as sells equipment associated with integration services. In addition, the company provides growing network services that include VoIP, image and videoconferencing, satellite access infrastructures, WiFi, and fiber optics; and international carriers and shared services. It offers its products and services under the Orange brand. The company was formerly known as France Telecom and changed its name to Orange in July 2013. Orange was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Paris, France.

Orange Denies Talks With PCCW

Orange (ENXTPA:ORA) is denying media reports that it was to enter exclusive talks with PCCW Limited (SEHK:8). Stephane Richard, Chief Executive of Orange said "We did not sign exclusivity with PCCW." Previously media reports that PCCW Limited is seeking acquisition of Dailymotion SA from Orange.

Orange to Invest More Than EUR 15 Billion in its Networks from 2015 to 2018

Orange presented its new strategic plan to 2020, called 'Essentials 2020'. The company's new plan builds on its 'Conquests 2015' plan launched in 2010. The company will invest more than EUR 15 billion in its networks from 2015 to 2018. The company aims to triple average data speeds compared to 2014 on both fixed and mobile networks by the end of 2018. The company is aiming for 50% digitization of interactions with its customers by 2018. The Group aims to raise the share of IT services in the Orange Business Services revenue mix by 10 points by 2020. The company targets new services to contribute more than EUR 1 billion to the Group's revenues in 2018. Orange plans to turn its shops into concept stores that offer an inviting and original experience. By 2018, 20% of Orange's shops will be Smart Stores in France and in Europe. The company said certain of these stores will be even more sophisticated: the megastores, which will have dedicated spaces for testing products and services or trying out the latest innovations. The company will open 40 megastores in France by 2018. In France, the company will triple its investments in fibre by 2020 and increase the number of connected homes from 3.6 million at the end of 2014 to 12 million in 2018 and to 20 million in 2022. In Spain, the Group will continue to expand its fiber network and its TV offering with the aim of doubling convergent revenues by 2018. In Europe, the company plans to have more than 95% 4G coverage across the Group's footprint in 2018. In France, Orange will launch Voice over WiFi in 2015. 4G will be launched in seven countries in 2015 and in the majority of countries in that region by 2018.

Orange Will Take Time To Review Options On Dailymotion

Orange (ENXTPA:ORA) is planning to take more time to review options for selling a stake in Dailymotion SA. Stephane Richard, Chief Executive of Orange said, "We want to take a bit of time to evaluate other options." Orange denied media reports that it was to enter exclusive talks with Asia's PCCW Limited (OTCPK:PCCWY). "We did not sign exclusivity with PCCW," said Orange Chief Executive Stephane Richard.
