OGE Energy Corp., together with its subsidiaries, operates as an energy and energy services provider that offers physical delivery and related services for electricity and natural gas primarily in the south central United States. The company operates in two segments, Electric Utility and Natural Gas Midstream Operations. The Electric Utility segment generates, transmits, distributes, and sells electric energy in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. This segment furnishes retail electric service in 267 communities and their contiguous rural and suburban areas; and owns and operates coal-fired, natural gas-fired, and wind-powered generating facilities. The Natural Gas Midstream Operations segment is involved in gathering, processing, transporting, and storing natural gas; provision of crude oil gathering services, and interstate and intrastate natural gas pipeline transportation and storage service to natural gas producers, utilities, and industrial customers. As of December 31, 2014, the company owned and operated interconnected electric generation, transmission, and distribution system, including 10 generating stations with an aggregate capability of 6,845 megawatts; and a transmission system comprising 53 substations and 4,888 structure miles of lines in Oklahoma, and 7 substations and 277 structure miles of lines in Arkansas. Its distribution system consisted of 354 substations, 29,197 structure miles of overhead lines, 2,369 miles of underground conduit, and 10,646 miles of underground conductors in Oklahoma, as well as 31 substations, 2,778 structure miles of overhead lines, 243 miles of underground conduit, and 694 miles of underground conductors in Arkansas. OGE Energy Corp. was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

OGE Energy Corp. Announces Retirement Plans of Pete Delaney as its Chairman and CEO

The chairman and CEO of OGE Energy Corp. has announced plans to retire. Pete Delaney announced during shareholders meeting that he will step down during the first quarter of 2016. Delaney's announcement came after shareholders approved the election of OGE Energy President Sean Trauschke to the board of directors. OGE Energy Corp. Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2015; Provides Earnings Guidance for 2015

OGE Energy Corp. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. The company reported earnings of $0.22 per diluted share for the three months ended March 31, 2015 compared to $0.25 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2014. Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company contributed earnings of $0.09 per share in the first quarter, compared with earnings of $0.10 per share in the first quarter last year. Operating revenue was $480.1 million compared to $560.4 million a year ago. Operating income was $56.4 million compared to $61.8 million a year ago. Income before taxes was $56.1 million compared to $73.0 million a year ago. Net income was $43.2 million compared to $49.3 million a year ago. The 2015 outlook is unchanged with Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company projected to earn $1.41 to $1.49 per average diluted share. Cash distributions from Enable Midstream Partners are expected to be between $139 million and $142 million. Finally, the company's consolidated earnings guidance for 2015 is $1.76 to $1.89 per average diluted share. The guidance assumes approximately 200 million average diluted shares outstanding and normal weather for the year. The company expects cash flow position for 2015 remains strong and is key to value proposition, which is growing utility earnings per share and utilizing cash flow received from Enable to fund the capital expenditures and grow the dividend at 10% annually.
