AUDI AG to Launch 2017 R8 at Geneva Motor Show

AUDI AG is launching its 2017 R8 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle incorporates styling cues from recent Audi concepts and is to be built on the same platform as the Lamborghini Huracan. The model will be available with a choice of V8 and V10 engines, but an entry-level model will be equipped with a turbocharged six-cylinder engine. Audi also plans to launch an all-electric version of the next R8 at the same time as the petrol-engine vehicle. The battery-powered R8 will have a total driving range of around 248 miles.

Audi to Develop RS Version of New Q7

AUDI AG is reportedly developing an RS-badged version of its new Q7 crossover. The company plans to launch an SQ7 in 2016, however a source has told Top Gear that an RS variant is under development. The model is based on Audi's MLB platform, and the new architecture decreases the vehicle's curb weight by around 716 pounds. It is likely to be available with a choice of a diesel or petrol engine. It features retuned suspension, upgraded steering and other enhancements.
