Norwegian Energy Company AS reported unaudited consolidated earnings and production results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of NOK 25 million against NOK 25 million a year ago. LBITDA was NOK 70 million against NOK 175 million a year ago. Net operating loss (LBIT) was NOK 70 million against NOK 180 million a year ago. Loss before tax was (LBT) NOK 219 million against NOK 197 million a year ago. Net loss for the period was NOK 250 against NOK 37 million a year ago. Earnings per diluted share were NOK 1,770 against NOK 264 a year ago. Net cash flow from operations was NOK 38 million against NOK 126 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was NOK 49 million against NOK 201 million a year ago. For the six months, the company reported revenue of NOK 41 million against NOK 55 million a year ago. LBITDA was NOK 98 million against NOK 207 million a year ago. Net operating loss (LBIT) was NOK 98 million against NOK 255 million a year ago. Loss before tax was (LBT) NOK 16 million against NOK 291 million a year ago. Net loss for the period was NOK 59 against NOK 80 million a year ago. Earnings per diluted share were NOK 419 against NOK 567 a year ago. At realised oil price of USD 47.8 per boe this resulted, together with the enoch insurance settlement, of revenues NOK 25 million in the quarter.

Norwegian Energy Company ASA Completes Part Repayment of NOR10 Bonds

Norwegian Energy Company ASA announced that it has completed the early repayment in part of NOR10 bonds equaling NOK 243,108,458 plus accrued interests which in sum adds up to NOK 250,000,000. The bonds were repaid at par. The repayment is in line with the company strategy, which was developed as part of the recent financial restructuring. The company is working to limit investment commitments, reduce costs and repay debt. Following this repayment, the outstanding principal under the NOR10 bond loan is NOK 356,891,452.
