The company’s cloud-based platform and suite of products enables organizations to collect, store, and analyze massive amounts of software data in real time. It provides New Relic Application Performance Management that offers visibility into the performance and usage of server-based applications, such as data pertaining to response time, transaction throughput, error rates, top transactions, and user satisfaction; New Relic Mobile, which provides code-level visibility into the performance and health of mobile applications running on the iOS and Android mobile operating systems; and New Relic Servers for the visibility into server and operating system performance for physical and virtual servers. The company also offers New Relic Browser, a product that monitors the page view experiences of actual end-users for desktop and mobile browser-based applications and provides code-level diagnostics for JavaScript code running directly in the browser; and New Relic Synthetics, which simulates usage and reproduces business-critical functionality that enables its users to test their software throughout the entire development life cycle. In addition, it provides New Relic Plugins, which offers a plugin architecture, including application programming interfaces and software development kit, for customers and partners to embed and extend its solution into their products; and New Relic Insights that enables technology and business users to perform real-time analysis to make data-driven decisions about their organizations, as well as real-time dashboards for tracking business metrics from a set of application sources. The company sells its products primarily through direct sales, online and offline sales, and marketing activities. New Relic, Inc. announced new promotions designed to drive product excellence and advance customer success. Jim Gochee has been named Chief Product Officer, a newly created position reporting directly to CEO and Founder Lew Cirne. New Relic, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of $38,145,000 against $22,613,000 a year ago. Loss from operations was $15,142,000 against $10,307,000 a year ago. Loss before income taxes was $15,017,000 against $10,183,000 a year ago. Net loss was $15,119,000 against $10,183,000 a year ago. Net loss per share attributable to common stockholders, basic and diluted was $0.32 against $0.65 a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was $2,144,000 against $7,399,000 a year ago. Purchases of property and equipment were $2,671,000 against $2,385,000 a year ago. Capitalized software development costs were $2,209,000 against $1,946,000 a year ago. Non-GAAP loss from operations was $10,113,000 against $7,867,000 a year ago.
