The company offers lubricant additives for use in various industrial applications, such as engine oils, transmission fluids, off-road equipments, gear oils, hydraulic oils, turbine oils, industrial oils, metalworking fluids, and in other applications where metal-to-metal moving parts are utilized; and manufactures engine oil, driveline, and industrial additives. It also provides fuel additives that are used to enhance the oil refining process and the performance of gasoline, diesel, biofuels, and other fuels to industry, government, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and individual customers. The company offers its petroleum additives to oil companies and refineries, OEM, and other specialty chemical companies. It has operations in the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, the Middle East, and Canada. The company was founded in 1887 and is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.
