NextEra Energy, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported operating revenues of $4,664 million against $3,630 million a year ago. Operating income was $1,532 million against $641 million a year ago. Income from continuing operations before income taxes was $1,337 million against $452 million a year ago. Income from continuing operations was $884 million against $327 million a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was $884 million against $327 million a year ago. Adjusted earnings were $458 million against $414 million a year ago. Earnings per share (assuming dilution) attributable to the company were $2.00 against $0.75 a year ago. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.03 against $0.95 a year ago. For the year, the company reported operating revenues of $17,021 million against $15,136 million a year ago. Operating income was $4,384 million against $3,241 million a year ago. The company expects 2016 full-year adjusted earnings per share to be in the range of $5.75 to $6.25.
