Malaysia Packaging Industry Bhd reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014. For the quarter, revenue was MYR 18.302 million against MYR 20.637 million a year ago. Loss from operations was MYR 0.930 million against MYR 0.811 million a year ago. Loss before taxation was MYR 1.219 million against MYR 1.134 million a year ago. Loss for the period was MYR 1.219 million or 2.90 sen per diluted share against MYR 1.134 million or 2.70 sen per diluted share a year ago. For the nine months, revenue was MYR 60.045 million against MYR 57.217 million a year ago. Loss from operations was MYR 1.154 million against MYR 0.366 million a year ago. Loss before taxation was MYR 2.027 million against MYR 0.591 million a year ago. Loss for the period was MYR 2.027 million or 4.82 sen per diluted share against MYR 0.591 million or 1.41 sen per diluted share a year ago. Net cash generated from in operating activities was MYR 1.123 million against net cash generated used in operating activities of MYR 0.249 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 1.770 million against MYR 3.389 million a year ago.
