MAXIMUS, Inc. provides business process services to government health and human services agencies in the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia. The company operates through two segments, Health Services and Human Services. The Health Services segment provides various business process services, as well as related consulting services for state, provincial, and national government programs, including Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act, Health Insurance British Columbia, and the Health and Work Program. This segment’s services include health insurance exchange customer contact center operations and support services; health insurance program eligibility and enrollment services; application assistance and independent health plan enrollment counseling; premium payment processing and administration; health plan oversight; eHealth solutions with the Medigent product suite; independent disability and health assessments; occupational health clinical assessments; independent medical reviews; health appeals dispute resolution; medicaid management information system planning, oversight, and consulting services; and specialized program consulting services. The Human Services segment provides national, state, and county human services agencies with various business process services and related consulting services for welfare-to-work, child support, higher education, and K-12 special education programs, as well as offers program consulting, and tax credit and employer services. MAXIMUS, Inc. was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.

MAXIMUS, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company announced revenue of $481,794,000 compared to $439,015,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating income was $62,007,000 compared to $64,980,000 for the same period a year ago. Income before income taxes was $62,226,000 compared to $65,456,000 for the same period a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was $38,808,000 compared to $41,207,000 for the same period a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were $0.58 compared to $0.59 for the same period a year ago. Cash provided by operating activities was $5,472,000 compared to $34,514,000 for the same period a year ago. Purchases of property and equipment were $31,472,000 compared to $5,076,000 for the same period a year ago. MAXIMUS to Launch DecisionPointTM for Pharmacy Benefits Management

MAXIMUS announced that it has launched DecisionPointTM for Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) to help states navigate the complexities of public drug benefit programs. The formal debut of this solution begins on May 5, 2015 at the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. DecisionPoint for Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) is the newest offering in the DecisionPoint set of solutions to assist states with the administration of their Medicaid programs. Leveraging more than a decade of drug benefit management experience in Canada, DecisionPoint for PBM combines a comprehensive, well-developed software application with decades of Medicaid program administration experience. The result is a solution that addresses the urgent need for states to better manage prescription drug programs used by a quickly expanding and increasingly diverse group of beneficiaries. MAXIMUS is formally launching DecisionPoint for PBM at this week's National Council for Prescription Drug Programs Conference. At the MAXIMUS exhibit booth, John Crouse, Vice President of Business Development at MAXIMUS, and a team of pharmacy benefits management experts will provide a demonstration of the solution and will share their insights and successes in deploying the solution across multiple projects and jurisdictions.
