Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad provides marine and heavy engineering services primarily to the oil and gas sector in Malaysia. It operates through Offshore, Marine Repair, and Others segments. The company offers a range of construction and engineering services, such as detailed engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, hook-up, and commissioning. Its projects include construction of production topsides, process modules, turrets, floating production systems, mooring buoy systems, and mobile offshore storage units, as well as deepwater structures for the oil and gas industry. The company also provides marine repair services, which include repair, refit, and refurbishment services with a focus on energy-related vessels, such as ULCCs, VLCCs and other petroleum tankers, chemical tankers, offshore oil rigs, gas carriers, and other offshore support vessels; dry docking of liquefied natural gas carriers; and sludge disposal management services. In addition, it is involved in the provision of marine conversion services, including engineering design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of various vessels comprising VLCCs, Aframax tankers, offshore oil rigs, and LNG carriers into floating storage and offloading units, MOPUs, MODUs, and floating storage units, as well as floating production, storage, and offloading units; construction of new built structures, such as tender rig barges; and jumboisation works. The company was formerly known as MSE Holdings Berhad and changed its name to Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad in June 2010. Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
