Metals X Limited is engaged in exploring, developing, mining, processing, producing, and marketing metal and mineral properties in Australia. The company operates through three segments: Tin Projects, Nickel Projects, and Gold Projects. It explores for tin, gold, nickel, bismuth, and precious and base metals, as well as cobalt and copper deposits. The company holds a 50% interest in the Renison project located on the west coast of Tasmania; and a 100% interests in the Central Musgrave project with exploration tenure, including the Wingellina nickel deposit, the Claude Hills nickel deposit, and the Mt Davies exploration prospects, located in the Central Musgrave Ranges, Australia. It also holds a 100% interests in the Central Murchison gold project in Western Australia; and the Rover project in the Northern Territory, as well as holds interests in gold operations located in Higginsville and South Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Metals X Limited was incorporated in 2004 and is based in West Perth, Australia.

Metals X Limited Announces Consolidated Earnings Results for the Half Year Ended December 31, 2014

Metals X Limited announced consolidated earnings results for the half year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, the company reported revenue of AUD 149,284,856 against AUD 72,703,370 a year ago. Profit before income tax was AUD 15,910,640 against AUD 9,210,133 a year ago. EBITDA was AUD 45,798,329 against AUD 19,224,253 a year ago. Profit before impairments was AUD 26,542,083 against AUD 11,230,998 a year ago. Net profit attributable to members was AUD 15,910,640 or 3.84 cents basic and diluted per share against AUD 9,210,133 or 2.23 cents basic and diluted per share a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was AUD 37,347,314 against AUD 21,679,898 a year ago. Return on equity as on December 31, 2014 was 5.07% against 3.30% as at December 31, 2013. Payments for plant and equipment were AUD 1,737,181 against AUD 1,280,315 a year ago. Payments for mine properties and development were AUD 17,012,559 against AUD 12,735,254 a year ago. Payments for exploration and evaluation were AUD 12,157,855 against AUD 3,296,681 a year ago.

Metals X Limited Deals Lithium Rights to Neometals and Takes Royalty

Metals X Limited and its relevant subsidiaries announce that it has reached agreement with Neometals Limited and its relevant subsidiaries to assist them with the development of their Mt. Marion Lithium Project. Under the agreement Metals X and Neometals have agreed: to Lease the land area over a portion of the Hampton Area Location 53 which adjoins the Mt Marion Lithium Project and contains known Lithium mineralization for an initial 10 year period with two periods to extend for a further 5 year period. The Lease fee will be $90,000 per annum indexed to CPI. Allow Neometals to mine and extract lithium ores from the lease area and store associated waste from mining on the land area. Neometals will pay a royalty of $2/t of ore mined and processed from the land area as well as a 1.5% NSR on the sale of any downstream products generated from mining and processing of ores won from the land area. Metals X will sell outright to Neometals (or its nominee) Mining Lease M15/717 and remaining infrastructure located upon it. The purchase price is $250,000 and Neometals will take over all libailities and MRF responsibility associated with the tenement. Metals X will retain the exclusive rights to access and mine gold from the tenement and pre-emptive rights over any upstream or downstream sale of the tenement. The company will transfer to Neometals Miscellaneous Licence 15/220 but retain access rights to use such private road for access to its exclusive gold rights.
