In addition, it offers telecommunications services to corporate clients, such as design, construction, and installation of local voice and data networks that interconnect with fixed line operators; installation and maintenance of cellular payphones; lease of digital communication channels; access to open computer databases and data networks, including the Internet; and provision of fixed, local, and long-distance telecommunications services, as well as video conferencing. As of December 31, 2014, the company served approximately 98.8 million mobile subscribers. Mobile TeleSystems Public Joint Stock Company has a strategic partnership with Vodafone. The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Moscow, the Russian Federation.

Mobile Telesystems to Help Google Promote Search Services in Russia

Google and Mobile Telesystems concluded a strategic agreement in which search services will be jointly promoted in Russia. In particular, smartphones with the Android operating system, which MTS sells through its own retail network, will come with a pre-installed Google search application on the main screen. Additionally MTS will promote voice search functions and other Google applications to clients which visit MTS retail locations. The partners will share the cost of promoting mobile Internet, including advertising campaigns, as well as revenue from contextual advertising in applications from the Google store.

MTS to Launch Intra-Corporate Video-Messenger

MTS plans to introduce a corporate video-messenger, reports Comnews.ru. The operator expects in this way to reduce the overload of its corporate network. The company has launched a call on the corporate video-content delivery system. Applications will be accepted until 1 September.

MTS Confirms Interest In Tender For Privatization Of Telekom Srbija

Mobile TeleSystems Public Joint Stock Company (NYSE:MBT) is interested in the possibility of the privatization of Telekom Srbija a.d. "This [the privatization of Telekom Srbija] may present a certain interest for us. It is necessary to estimate profitability. The interest depends on the conditions [of privatization] and the cost," MTS Andrei Dubovskov said during a conference call. Serbian authorities began the regular process of privatizing Telekom Srbija, putting 58.11% of the company's shares on sale. Among the eight companies, which expressed interest in the asset during the first stage of preparing for the auction, were MTS, Deutsche Telekom AG (DB:DTE), Telekom Slovenije d.d. (LJSE:TLSG) and several investment funds. All of the companies presented non-binding proposals, which allowed them to become familiar with the tender documentation and study the state of affairs at Telekom Srbija.
