Muar Ban Lee Group Berhad, an investment holding company, engages in the design and manufacture of oil seed expellers and ancillary machinery for oil seed crushing plants. The company’s products comprise palm kernel oil expellers for the extraction of palm kernel oil; copra/coconut oil expellers that are all-in-one machines, which crushes and presses the copra or coconut; palm kernel oil leaf filter to filter crude kernel oil and crude copra oil extracted from the oil seed expellers to remove impurity and sludge content; empty fruit bunch (EFB) treatment machinery; and jatropha oil seed expellers, as well as single barrel EFB presses and EFB break cutters. It is also involved in the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of oil seed crushing plants; and manufacture and sale of spare parts. In addition, the company engages in the manufacture of machinery and equipment for waste management and power generation from palm oil waste; and cultivation of oil palm plantation and agricultural products. It sells its products in Malaysia and internationally. The company was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Muar, Malaysia. Muar Ban Lee Group Berhad is a subsidiary of MBL Realty Sdn. Bhd.

Muar Ban Lee Group Berhad announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 14,116,000, operating profit of MYR 1,849,000, profit before tax of MYR 1,770,000, profit for the continuing operations of MYR 1,740,000 and profit for the year of MYR 1,732,000 compared to revenue of MYR 12,007,000, operating profit of MYR 1,503,000, profit before tax of MYR 1,605,000, profit for the continuing operations of MYR 1,440,000 and profit for the year of MYR 1,441,000 a year ago. Earnings per basic share from continuing operations was 1.88 sen against 1.57 sen a year ago. Earnings per basic share were 1.60 sen against 1.57 sen a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was MYR 5,324,000 against MYR 2,009,000 a year ago. Acquisition of biological assets was MYR 360,000. Acquisition of property, plant and equipment was MYR 72,000 against MYR 281,000 a year ago. As at the date of the reporting date, the capital expenditure approved and contracted for under the group amounting to MYR 2,200,000.00. Increased in sales of spare parts has contributed to the higher revenue.
