MasterCard Incorporated Names Porush Singh as Division President for South Asia and Julienne Loh as Senior Vice President and Group Head, Core Products, Global Products & Solutions for Asia Pacific

MasterCard Incorporated announced that it has named Porush Singh as division president for South Asia while Julienne Loh has been appointed to the role of senior vice president and group head, Core Products, Global Products & Solutions for Asia Pacific, effective immediately. In his new role, Porush will lead the South Asia team to promote core business growth and execute the emerging payments opportunities in the region. He will be based in Delhi and succeeds Ari Sarker who was recently appointed co-president for the Asia Pacific region.Porush was most recently senior vice president and Group head - Core Products, Global Products & Solutions, Asia Pacific. Porush started out his career with MasterCard in Dubai in 2005 before joining the Singapore office in 2010. In her new role, Loh will oversee the development and management of all consumer and commercial payment solutions for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. She was previously Group head, Consumer Credit, Asia Pacific. She has been with MasterCard since 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in business, marketing and financial sectors.

Mastercard and Parkeon Launch New Couponing Platform in Las Vegas

MasterCard Incorporated and Parkeon have announced the launch of City Connector, a couponing platform that delivers offers and services from local businesses via on-street parking meters in Las Vegas. The solution, powered by the Enterprise Offers Platform from MasterCard, turns traditional parking meters into connected devices to engage consumers, providing cities with a smart way to connect local businesses with citizens and visitors. The SaaS (software as a service) solution allows 3rd parties to publish offers, manage entire campaigns and specify targeting criteria, enabling more relevant and more customized experiences for consumers around the globe. The first implementation of City Connector will be in Downtown Las Vegas around its newest retail destination, Container Park (707 Fremont Street). A total of 16 interactive kiosks will go live, with offers from participating stores and restaurants.

MasterCard Incorporated Announces Management Changes

MasterCard has announced changes to its senior leadership team in the Asia-Pacific region, effective immediately. Matthew Driver has been appointed to the role of group executive, Global Products and Solutions for Asia Pacific. In this role, he will lead the development of innovative products and services that benefit consumers, merchants, business partners and governments across Asia Pacific for MasterCard. Matthew will have responsibility for Core Products, Emerging Payments, Processing Services, MasterCard Advisors, as well as Marketing and Communications in Asia Pacific. Matthew joined MasterCard in 2002 and has over 26 years of experience in banking, payments and business services and has worked across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Most recently, Matthew was the president of Southeast Asia, responsible for managing all aspects of the MasterCard business in the division. Matthew takes over from T.V. Seshadri who has been appointed to the newly created role of head of Business Process Simplification, Asia Pacific. In this role, Seshadri will be focused on integrating and coordinating efforts across Asia Pacific to ensure more streamlined collaboration. Seshadri has held several management roles within MasterCard over the last 18 years in Singapore and India.
