Lukoil Reports Earnings Results for the First Half Ended June 2015

Lukoil reported earnings results for the first half ended June 2015. For the first half, the company reported net profit rise 5.4% year-on-year to RUB 214.06 billion in January-June 2015. Pretax profit increased 4.7% to RUB 214.91 billion. Operating profit climbed 6.3% to RUB 215.28 billion, revenue went up to RUB 237.84 billion from RUB 220.17 billion in the year-earlier period.

LUKOIL Receives Offer To Sell Petrotel Refinery In Romania By Chinese Firm

China Peace Petroleum Group Limited has approached Public Joint Stock Company Oil Company LUKOIL (MICEX:LKOH) to start talks on buying the Russian firm's refinery in Romania, according to a letter obtained by Reuters. Lukoil's spokesman confirmed receiving the letter and reiterated that the company does not plan to sell its Romanian refinery. Reuters could not reach China Peace Petroleum Group due to the late hour in China.
