LoJack Corporation provides after-market safety, security, and protection products and services for tracking and recovering cars, trucks, and other valuable mobile assets. The company operates through three segments: North America, International, and All Other. It offers LoJack Unit, a LoJack System component that consists of a very high frequency transponder with a hidden antenna, microprocessor, and power supply, as well as a set of secret codes unique to the unit; LoJack Early Warning Unit, an optional component that provides early notification to vehicle owners in the event of unauthorized user; LoJack for Construction Equipment that is designed specifically for installation on heavy equipment; and LoJack for Motorcycles, which is designed specifically for installation in “on road” motorcycles. The company also distributes The LoJack Fleet Management System, a comprehensive GPS-based telematics system designed for tracking and managing fleet of vehicles; LoJack connect for equipment; and The legacy Boomerang Tracking System for locating and tracking stolen assets. In addition, it provides SafetyNet system, which comprises a transmitter, and a search and rescue receiver used by public safety agencies. The company markets its products to owners of commercial equipment and to consumers through its sales force, telemarketing representatives, and direct mail. LoJack Corporation has strategic alliance with TomTom, Inc., to offer fleet telematics solutions to small and medium sized businesses, commercial fleets, automotive dealerships, and law enforcement agencies; and Trackunit A/S to develop and deliver tracking and fleet management solutions for commercial equipment. LoJack Corporation was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts.

On July 7, 2015, Casey Delaney provided notice to LoJack Corporation that she would be resigning as Vice President and Controller (and principal accounting officer) of the Company, effective as of July 31, 2015, in order to pursue another opportunity. Kenneth L. Dumas will assume the role of principal accounting officer as of the same date. Mr. Dumas, age 43, has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer (and principal financial officer) of the Company since November 2014. Before joining the Company, Mr. Dumas served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Chase Corporation. LoJack IM1 Inventory Management System - for dealers: The technology enables dealership personnel through tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices, to verify vehicle location, quickly access relevant vehicle information, track test drives and receive early-warning alerts if a vehicle is moved from a geo-fenced location. Currently in pilot phase, LoJack IM1 customers can see streamlined processes that can result in a more efficient dealership and better overall customer service.

LoJack Corporation on May 21, 2015, Mr. John A. Janitz was appointed to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, to serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors and until his successor is chosen and qualified. Mr. Janitz filled the seat on the Audit Committee held by Philip Horlock, who was appointed to serve on the Compensation, Organization and Succession Committee of the Board of Directors.
