Lindab International AB Invests in New Distribution Centre for Northern Europe in Grevie

Lindab International AB has decided to invest in an 8,000 sq. m large distribution centre to be located adjacent to the existing production unit in Grevie, Southern Sweden. The initiative is in line with Lindab's strategy to streamline workflow from purchase to distribution to the customer. With a highly effective and automated distribution centre where big volumes are handled cost-effectively, the customer will benefit from better availability and faster deliveries, both directly from the factory and through the branch system. By means of having a more optimised working capital, opportunities arise to broaden the range and to create more enhanced offerings to Lindab's customers. The new distribution centre will be fully operational in 2017 and will become a central hub of Lindab's logistics.
