BOC Hong Kong Holdings Ltd. (SEHK:2388) is looking for a Chinese buyer for its Nanyang Commercial Bank Ltd. Bank of Beijing Co., Ltd. (SHSE:601169), China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (SEHK:2628) and China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SEHK:1359) shown their interest for Nanyang Commercial Bank, an insider close to the matter disclosed. BOC expects the first round of bidding applications before middle of April 2015.

China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Recommends Final Dividend, Payable on August 21, 2015

The Board of Directors of China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. has recommended a final dividend of RMB 0.40 per share (inclusive of tax), amounting to a total of approximately RMB 11,306 million, subject to the approval of shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on 28 May 2015. If approved, the final dividend is expected to be paid on 21 August 2015 to the H Share shareholders whose names appear on the H Share register of members of the company on 11 June 2015.

China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, the company reported revenues of RMB 331,010 million against RMB 326,290 million a year ago. Net written premiums were RMB 330,495 million against RMB 325,734 million a year ago. Net premiums earned were RMB 330,105 million against RMB 324,813 million a year ago. Total revenues were RMB 440,766 million against RMB 417,883 million a year ago. Profit before income tax was RMB 40,402 million against RMB 29,451 million a year ago. Net profit was RMB 32,514 million against RMB 25,008 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to equity holders of the company was RMB 32,211 million against RMB 24,765 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share were RMB 1.14 against RMB 0.88 a year ago. Net cash inflow from operating activities was RMB 78,247 million against RMB 68,292 million a year ago. Purchases of Property, plant and equipment was RMB 5,048 million against RMB 3,724 million a year ago. This was primarily due to an increase in cash flows from policyholders investment. Weighted average return on net assets was 12.83%.
