Faiveley Transport S.A., through its subsidiaries, manufactures railway equipment. It offers energy and comfort products, such as cab heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; saloon HVAC systems; air distribution ducts; exhaust devices; URS dolder heaters; pantographs and switches; energy meters; auxiliary power converters; and master controllers and drivers vigilance systems. The company also provides access and information systems, such as platform doors, automatic platform gates, beacons, access doors, steps, interior doors, passenger information systems, CCTV surveillance systems, and infotainment systems. In addition, it offers brakes and safety products, which include couplers, brake control units, oil free BURAN air generators, NOWE sanding systems, axle mounted discs, magnetic track brakes, disc brake stations, air generation and treatment units, and pantograph compressors. Further, the company provides friction pair and engineering services, as well as spare parts and logistics services; and rental/hire services. It serves light rail vehicle, metro, freight, high speed, locomotive, and regional train markets in France and rest of Europe, the Americas, and the Asia/Pacific. The company was formerly known as Faiveley S.A. and changed its name to Faiveley Transport S.A. in September 2009. Faiveley Transport S.A. was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Gennevilliers, France. Faiveley Transport S.A. is a subsidiary of Financière Faiveley.

Singapore Rail Engineering Pte. Ltd. Enters into Joint Venture Agreement with Faiveley Transport SA

SMRT Corporation Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Singapore Rail Engineering Pte. Ltd. has entered into a joint venture agreement with Faiveley Transport SA with 50% shareholding each. Singapore Rail Engineering Pte. Ltd. together with Faiveley will incorporate a joint venture company in Singapore to market and supply Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services for specific rolling stock components in Southeast Asia (excluding Thailand).

Faiveley Transport Wins Series of Contracts from Alstom Transport

Faiveley Transport has won a series of contracts from Alstom Transport to supply its braking systems, couplers, on-board doors and heating, ventilation and air conditioning, or HVAC, for the Kochi metro project in Kerala, India. Kochi metro will use 25 Alstom Transport's Metropolis train sets, with an option of a further 25 train sets. Each train, about 65 m long, will be composed of three cars, with a capacity to carry up to 975 passengers. The contracts awarded to Faiveley Transport amount to more than EUR 10 million for the first 25 train sets, with a potential value for more than EUR 20 million if the option of a further 25 train sets is chosen.

SRE Selects Faiveley Transport S.A. to Supply HVAC and APS Systems for 85 Trains

Singapore Rail Engineering Pte. Ltd., or SRE, has selected Faiveley Transport S.A. to supply heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, or HVAC, and auxiliary power supply, or APS, systems for 85 trains. The contract covers the engineering, manufacturing and delivery of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) and APS (auxiliary power supply) systems. It will allow the C651 and C151 trains cars upgrade while improving passengers comfort and optimizing operations conditions. It amounts to more than E45 million. Delivery is expected to start mid 2016 and to be completed by beginning of 2020.
