Kangaroo Resources Limited reported that decision has been handed down in relation to the Supreme Court of Victoria proceedings against Chimaera Capital Markets Pte Ltd. and Empire Equity Limited CChimaera relating to an engagement in 2010. As previously disclosed, Chimaera claimed approximately AUD 28 million in relation to fees arising from a mandate that was entered into by KRL on 17 November 2010 and varied on 7 December 2010. The decision handed down on September 16, 2014 is as follows: All of Chimaera's claims have been dismissed other than part of its claim for unpaid expenses. KRL is obligated to pay approximately AUD 20,000 of the original AUD 30,000 claimed; KRL has been successful in its counter-claim to have up to $750,000 that it paid to Chimaera repaid to it; and KRL will also be entitled to recover its costs of the litigation.
