Komax Holding AG engages in the development, production, and sale of capital goods for precision engineering, electronics, and information technology in the areas of wire processing, and automated production and assembly worldwide. The company operates in two segments, Wire and Medtech. The Wire segment offers electrical, rotary, and coaxial wire strippers, as well as rotary jacket strippers; wire crimpers for semiautomatic machines; cutting and stripping machines; crimp to crimp machines for processing single conductors and double-crimp connections; harness machines for block loading and wire harness manufacturing; twisting solutions; and wire handling machines for preliminary wire processing. This segment also provides automatic wire processing machines; monitoring modules; software solutions for automatic crimping machines; a range of accessories; and test systems, as well as creates processing modules. The Medtech segment develops machine systems for the automatic assembly of mass-produced medical devices, such as inhalers or insulin delivery and injection systems; and systems for the mass production of cartridges for inkjet printers. Komax Holding AG was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Dierikon, Switzerland.

Komax Holding AG announced consolidated earnings results for the year 2014. For the period, the company reported revenues of CHF 363,338,000 against CHF 323,959,000 a year ago. EBITD was CHF 57,663,000 against CHF 52,577,000 a year ago. Operating profit (EBIT) was CHF 48,102,000 against CHF 43,297,000 a year ago. Group profit after taxes from continued operations was CHF 43,660,000 against CHF 35,064,000 a year ago. Group profit after taxes (EAT) was CHF 27,743,000 against CHF 25,129,000 a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was CHF 30,295,000 against CHF 31,734,000 a year ago. Free cash flow was CHF 14,412,000 against CHF 24,545,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were CHF 7.64 against CHF 7.33 a year ago.

Komax Holding AG Announces Management Changes

Komax Holding AG announced Steiner will not be standing for re-election as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the next AGM on 8 May 2015. In addition, Hans Caspar von der Crone will be stepping down from the Board of Directors with effect from the end of this AGM. Instead the Board of Directors will propose to the AGM the election of Beat Kaelin - the current CEO - as both member and Chairman. Matijas Meyer, currently Head of the Wire business unit, will become CEO of the Komax Group. Matijas Meyer will assume the chair of the Executive Committee on 11 May 2015.
