The company’s still beverages comprise nonalcoholic beverages without carbonation, including noncarbonated waters, flavored and enhanced waters, noncarbonated energy drinks, juices and juice drinks, ready-to-drink teas and coffees, and sports drinks. It also provides flavoring ingredients, sweeteners, beverage ingredients, and fountain syrups, as well as powders for purified water products. In addition, the company licenses its technologies and trademarks to suppliers and third parties. The Coca-Cola Company sells its products primarily under Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Light, Coca-Cola Zero, Fanta, Sprite, Minute Maid, Georgia, Powerade, Del Valle, Schweppes, Aquarius, Minute Maid Pulpy, Dasani, Simply, Glacéau Vitaminwater, Bonaqua/Bonaqa, Ayataka, Gold Peak, I LOHAS, and FUZE TEA brand names. The company offers its beverage products through a network of company-owned or controlled bottling and distribution operators, as well as through independent bottling partners, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. The Coca-Cola Company was founded in 1886 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated Closes Transaction to Expand Franchise Territory

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated reported that it has closed its previously disclosed agreement with an affiliate of The Coca-Cola Company to expand the bottler's franchise territory to include Louisville, KY and Evansville, IN. This closing represents an additional phase of the proposed franchise territory expansion described in the previously-announced Letter of Intent from April 2013 between the company and The Coca-Cola Company.

Coca-Cola Mulls Acquisitions

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO), which has sold bonds recently is looking for acquisitions. The company said that it would use proceeds from sale to repay existing debt and for general corporate purposes, which can include capital expenditures, acquisitions and stock repurchases.

James D. Robinson III and Peter V. Ueberroth to Retire from Coca-Cola Company Board

The Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company reported James D. Robinson, III, and Peter V. Ueberroth will not stand for re-election to the Board at the company's Annual Meeting of Shareowners in April. Robinson is a longtime director of The Coca-Cola Company, having served on the Board since 1975. Currently, Robinson is the Co-Founder and General Partner of RRE Ventures and serves as President of J.D. Robinson, a strategic advisory firm. Peter V. Ueberroth has served as a Director of The Coca-Cola Company since 1986. Currently, he is an investor and Chairman of the Contrarian Group and serves as Chairman of the Board of Aircastle Limited. He is also Co-Chairman of Pebble Beach Company.
