Pon Holdings And Parcom Seeks To Acquire Imtech Marine Unit

Pon Holdings B.V. said that it was seeking to buy, together with Parcom Capital the Imtech Marine unit of Royal Imtech N.V. (ENXTAM:IM) which has filed for creditor protection. Pon and Parcom claim to be ready to provide the necessary investments so as to preserve Imtech Marine's operations. A successful takeover would cater for security with employees, customers and suppliers, according to Pon.

Royal Imtech N.V. Provides Earnings Guidance for the First Half of 2015

Royal Imtech NV predicted an Ebitda loss of €45 million ($49.7 million) to €50 million in the first half of 2015, widening from a loss of €25 million a year earlier. Net interest-bearing debt at the end of June was about €545 million.

Royal Imtech N.V. provided earnings guidance for the first half of 2015. Revenue for the first six months of 2015 is around a satisfactory EUR 1.8 billion. This revenue is circa 8% lower than last year, which is largely attributable to the planned reduction of the German division. The other Imtech divisions, combined, deliver revenue comparable to the 2014 period. Operational BITDA for the first six months of 2015 will be EUR 45 million to EUR 50 million negative compared to EUR 25 million negative for the comparable period in 2014. The performance in Germany, the UK, Nordic and Traffic & Infra business have declined and the performance in Benelux, Spain and Marine business have improved. Net interest-bearing debt at the end of June 2015 was approximately EUR 545 million.
