IJM Corporation Berhad engages in construction, property development, manufacturing and quarrying, infrastructure concessions, and plantations businesses primarily in Malaysia, India, the United Arab Emirates, China, and Indonesia. It undertakes civil engineering works of various projects, including bridges/highways, utilities, and airports/transit systems; and construction of condominium/housing projects, commercial and cultural complexes, hospitals/clinics/medical centers, and preservation and refurbishment projects. The company also develops residential, commercial, integrated township, and investment properties. In addition, it manufactures and sells pretensioned spun concrete piles; ready-mixed concrete; prestressing steel bars that are used in the manufacture of pretensioned spun concrete piles for civil structural, building foundations, and concrete spun poles for electrical and telecommunication transmission lines; rents scaffoldings used in the construction of bridges infrastructure works, buildings, shipyards, aircraft hangars, etc.; and is involved in quarrying granite and industrial-use stones. Further, the company is involved in cultivation, milling, and trading of oil palms, fresh fruit bunches, crude palm oil, palm kernel expeller, and crude palm kernel oil. Additionally, it designs, constructs, operates, and maintains tolls and highways; operates two port concessions in Kuantan and Kemaman; and builds water treatment facilities, as well as operates power plant facility. IJM Corporation Berhad is headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

IJM Corporation Berhad reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported operating revenue of MYR 1,182,243,000 against MYR 1,373,038,000 a year ago. Operating profit before finance cost was MYR 479,398,000 against MYR 336,155,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was MYR 426,637,000 against MYR 258,636,000 a year ago. Net profit attributable to owners of the company was MYR 336,867,000 against MYR 133,386,000 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were 18.71 sen against 9.05 sen a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was MYR 126,941,000 against MYR 100,609,000 a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment, development and leasehold land, investment properties, concession assets, plantation development expenditure and deferred expenditure was MYR 60,254,000 against MYR 92,859,000 a year ago.
