Infigen Energy to Dispose of US Solar Pipeline for Up to USD 68 Million

Infigen Energy it has signed a deal to shed its US solar development pipeline for up to USD 67.9 million. Under the terms of the agreement, the unnamed sector player will buy the projects for USD 37.9 million, with USD 8.8 million to be paid on completion and the rest in November 2015. Moreover, Infigen will be entitled to receive up to an additional USD 30 million if certain milestones, including off-take contracts execution, notice to proceed with construction and commercial operation date, are achieved.

Infigen Energy reported group production and revenue results for the third quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported total production of 1,071 GWh compared to 1,219 GWh a year ago. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue of AUD 76.6 million compared to AUD 77.5 million a year ago.

Infigen Energy Reports Group Earnings Results for the Six Month Period Ended December 31, 2014; Provides Production Guidance for the Full Year 2015

Infigen Energy reported group earnings results for the six month period ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company reported Statutory Profit of AUD 1.6 million, an improvement of AUD 16.9 million compared with the Statutory Loss of AUD 15.3 million for the prior corresponding period. EBITDA decreased 14% to AUD 67.7 million. Net profit improved 110% to AUD 1.6 million and operating cash flow increased 103% to AUD 49.7 million. Group revenue of AUD 139.6 million, down 6% or AUD 9.7 million, reflected lower overall production and electricity prices, offset by a declining Australian dollar, higher compensated revenue, and higher Australian LGC and US REC revenues. Operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Operating EBITDA) was AUD 78.1 million, down 13% or AUD 12.0 million. This was due to: in Australia: lower revenue partially offset by higher compensated and LGC revenues, and lower operating costs and In the US marginally higher revenue including AUD 4.0 million from solar PV activities, partially offset by lower merchant electricity prices and higher operating costs. In the US, the company expects both full year 2015 production and average portfolio price to be in line with fiscal year 2014, while in Australia, the company expects both full year production and average portfolio price to be approximately 10% lower than in fiscal year 2014.
