It operates through Copper Alloys, Engineered Materials, and Research segments. The company offers various copper alloys as castings and forgings, including beryllium copper, chrome copper, and aluminum bronze in plate, block, bar, and rings, as well as specialty copper alloy forgings for plastic mold tooling and resistance welding parts. It also provides tooling components for the automotive industry, consumer plastic tooling producers, oil and gas service industry, submarine and aircraft carrier producers and repair facilities, electronics industries, and general equipment manufacturers. In addition, the company offers various manufacturing and support services, including casting and master alloy products, cast and forged billet products, semi-continuous cast input billets, and wrought products. Further, it provides engineered materials comprising Beralcast and ABX family of metal matrices that can be used in commercial and military application requiring complex, lightweight, or high-stiffness parts; and focuses on nuclear fuel research initiatives. The company sells its products directly to end users, as well as through a network of dealers and distributors. It serves aerospace, defense, oil and gas, welding, injection molding, and foundry markets. The company was formerly known as International Beryllium Corporation and changed its name to IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. in March 2009. IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. reported that its Copper Alloys division has received a USD 1.3 million order from a new multinational manufacturing customer based in Asia. Delivery of the finished products is expected to begin in the first quarter of fiscal 2016 and IBC is confident of additional business.

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. Receives Purchase Order from UTC Aerospace Systems

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. has received a purchase order from UTC Aerospace Systems to supply advanced Beralcast(r) components for critical imaging systems used on a variety of US and foreign military aircraft. The contract was signed with UTC Aerospace Systems' unit based in Danbury, Connecticut. Production on the new contract has begun at IBC's Wilmington, MA facility with the first components scheduled for delivery prior to IBC's 2015 fiscal year end of June 30. Terms of the order are not disclosed. Beralcast alloys are ideally suited to many aerospace applications where lightweight, high modulus and cost are critical performance factors. Beralcast(r) alloys are three times stiffer and weigh 22% less than aluminum. Beralcast(r) alloys can be an engineered substitute for aluminum, magnesium, titanium, metal matrix composites, pure beryllium or powder metallurgy beryllium-aluminum materials in the appropriate applications.

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended December 31, 2014

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, revenue was $5.08 million representing a 9.5% increase over the previous quarter and a 31.5% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. Loss for the period was $706,000, representing a 20% improvement compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year. The company recorded strong sales growth. This is a very favorable result as sales typically decline by between 10% and 20% in second quarter due to the effect of holidays on production and shipping. Both production divisions enjoyed good growth as discussed below. For the six months, revenue was $9.73 million representing an 11% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. Loss for the period was $1.23 million, representing an 18.5% improvement compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year.
