HTC Announces Executive Changes

HTC's country manager for Austria, Switzerland and Italy, Eric Matthes, has been appointed country manager the DACH region, succeeding Andre Loenne. In his new function, Matthes, who has been with the company since 2007, will be responsible for it's strategic orientation in the German-speaking region. Loenne was hitherto Vice President for DACH, Poland and Turkey. He will from now on support the company team in the US.

France Brevets Wins Legal Case against HTC in a German Court

The French patent fund, France Brevets, has won a legal case against HTC in a German court. The dispute covers NFC technology patented in the US and elsewhere. France Brevets is defending intellectual property developed by Orange and Inside Secure. The Duesseldorft appeal court has confirmed a lower court decision recognizing HTC's patent infringement. As a consequence of the latest ruling, German customs officials seized the smart phone models concerned at HTC's stand at IFA Berlin.

HTC Corporation Announces Executive Changes

HTC Corporation announced the appointment of Hsiu Lai, deputy controller as accounting officer replacing James. CY Chen, effective September 16, 2015. Mr. Chen changes his role as an accounting advisor due to position adjustment.
