hammer metals ltd (HMX) Key Developments

Hammer Metals Releases New JORC Compliant Resource Estimate for its "Overlander" Deposit

Hammer Metals has released a new JORC compliant (2012 edition) resource estimate for its "Overlander" deposit. The new estimate is the sum of indicated and inferred resources for the whole "Overlander" area, adding up to 1.77 million tons of ore grading 1.2% Cu. 1.1 million tons grading 1.3% Cu originate from a new estimate for "Overlander North". This reflects a 53% increase of the total resource including the 2014 estimate for "Overlander South". A cut-off grade of 0.7% Cu was applied to all estimates. The estimate was assessed with new data from the most recent successful drilling campaign. It was completed in June 2015. Drilling has so far not reached the limits of the mineralization. Therefore the deposit remains open at depth an along strike with good potential for a further resource increase in the future.

Hammer Metals Announces Further Results of Current Drilling Campaign on their License Area within the Mount Isa Region in Queensland/Australia

Hammer Metals Limited published further results of its current exploration campaign on their license area within the Mount Isa region in Queensland/Australia. The present drilling data reveal an outstanding image for the Overlander-North area. Sections of various drillings show a mineralization of 1.3% copper over 75 meters and 0.54% copper over 97 meters. The mineralization style indicates an attractive IOCG mineralization. In addition, further data has been published for another drill hole within the Overlander-Central area. The drill hole was aiming to confirm a known mineralization, which extends over several kilometers within the area and is outcropping at surface. The hole showed a copper grade of 0.31% over 71 meters. Both the width and the grade have also previously been verified by two other holes with similar results. The holes returned 0.34% copper over 116 meters and 0.31% copper over 110 meters. The current results further support the assumption of a large and continuously mineralized copper deposit. The drill holes within the license areas Hammertime and Andy's Hill also provided good results. The Hammertime target was drilled for the first time and next to other results showed an interception of 216 meters length with elevated metal contents, which can be interpreted as an indication for a nearby ore body. Within both license areas, the present results indicate an extensive IOCG mineralization, which can form large copper-cold deposits.

Hammer Metals Limited Announces First Results of the Ongoing Exploration Campaign on its Tenements in the Mount Isa Region in Queensland, Australia

Hammer Metals Limited announced the first results of the ongoing exploration campaign on its tenements in the Mount Isa region in Queensland, Australia. Analysis and assay results of the first drill hole of this years campaign, drilled on the Overlander North target, are now available. The results of the hole do confirm the expected potential of the mineralisation, with partly very higher copper grades. The drillhole returned an intercept of 97.3 meters at 0.54% Cu from 358.7 meters including 21 meters at 1.7% Cu and a higher grade zone of 6 meters at 3.3% Cu. The style of the mineralization and the grades confirm the potential for a large and significant IOCG mineralization. The results from other holes of the current campaign are expected to be announced by Hammer over the next weeks.
