Hillenbrand Seeks Acquisitions

Joe Raver, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hillenbrand, Inc. (NYSE:HI) said, "We look to do acquisitions. If we don't find an acquisition that meets our criteria, we will then use cash to pay down debt. Then opportunistically, like you saw this quarter, we bought back some number of shares, not a lot of shares. We only really do that to offset dilution. Quite frankly, that's subordinated to an acquisition if we have an acquisition available. So we want to remain disciplined, but also recognize that our strategy as a Company is to grow through acquisitions."
