Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad is a subsidiary of Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad.

Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Bhd Reports Audited Parent Earnings Results and Consolidated Return on Total Tangible Assets for the Year Ended December 31, 2014; Proposes Amendment to Articles of Association

Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Bhd reported audited parent earnings results and consolidated return on total tangible assets for the year ended December 31, 2014. On parent basis, revenue was MYR 117.4 million compared to MYR 107.3 million for the same period of last year. Profit before tax was MYR 109.8 million compared to MYR 94.4 million for the same period of last year. Profit representing comprehensive income for the period was MYR 108.4 million compared to MYR 93.1 million for the same period of last year. Net cash generated from operating activities was MYR 1.1 million compared to net cash used operating activities of MYR 0.8 million for the same period of last year. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 2.6 million compared to MYR 2.6 million for the same period of last year. On consolidated basis, return on total tangible assets was 5.82% against 4.50% last year. The company announced that an annual general meeting will be held on May 25, 2015, to consider that the existing article 164.(i) in the articles of association of the company be deleted entirely and the adoption of the new article as article 164.(i) of the articles of association of the company be approved.
