Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiary, Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., is engaged in the scheduled air transportation of passengers and cargo. The company offers daily services on North America routes between the state of Hawaii and Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Phoenix, Arizona; Portland, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington, as well as daily services on its neighbor island routes among the four major islands of the state of Hawaii. It also provides scheduled service between the state of Hawaii, and New York City, New York. In addition, the company provides daily services on its international routes between the state of Hawaii and Seoul, South Korea; Sydney, Australia; and Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, Japan; and Hawaii and Pago Pago, American Samoa; Papeete, Tahiti; Brisbane, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; Sapporo and Sendai, Japan; and Taipei, Taiwan. As of December 31, 2013, its fleet consisted of 18 Boeing 717-200 aircraft for its Neighbor Island routes; 12 Boeing 767-300 aircraft; and 14 Airbus A330-200 aircraft for the North America, international, and charter routes. Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Hawaiian Holdings Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings and operating results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net income of $11,099,000 or $0.17 per diluted share compared to $17,079,000 or $0.31 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. Income before income taxes was $18,396,000 compared to $28,156,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating income was $77,332,000 compared to $33,848,000 for the same period a year ago. Total operating revenue was $574,839,000 compared to $531,885,000 for the same period a year ago. Adjusted net income in the fourth quarter was $26.1 million or $0.40 per diluted share, an increase of $14.1 million or $0.18 per diluted share year-over-year For the full year, the company reported net income of $68,926,000 or $1.10 per diluted share compared to $51,854,000 or $0.98 per diluted share for the same period a year ago. For the first quarter of 2015, the company expects operating revenue per ASM to be down 3.5% to down 6.5%. ASMS are expected to be up 3.5% to up 5.5%. The company’s operating revenue for every seat flown one mile-would decline between 3.5 and 6.5% in the first quarter compared with the same period in 2014. For the full year 2015, the company expects ASMS to be up 3% to up 6%. For the year 2015, the company continues to expect effective tax rate to be in the 38% to 40% range and based on current outlook. It expects full year CapEx to decrease significantly from 2014 to a range of $45 million to $55 million as its aircraft commitments decrease.
