ENGIE SA engages in power, natural gas, and energy services businesses. The company operates through five segments: GDF SUEZ Energy International, GDF SUEZ Energy Europe, GDF SUEZ Global Gas & LNG, GDF SUEZ Infrastructures, and GDF SUEZ Energy Services. The GDF SUEZ Energy International segment produces and markets power in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and the Middle East, as well as distributes and markets gas in North America, Latin America, Asia, and Turkey. This segment is also involved in liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and regasification activities in North America and Chile; and seawater desalination in the Arabian Peninsula. The GDF SUEZ Energy Europe segment produces electricity and sells energy in Europe. This segment generates electricity through hydropower, wind power, solar energy, biomass, geothermal, nuclear energy, coal, and fuel oil. The GDF SUEZ Global Gas & LNG segment explores, develops, and operates oil and gas fields; manages gas supply contract portfolio and interests in liquefaction facilities; operates an LNG fleet; and owns regasification capacities in LNG terminals. The GDF SUEZ Infrastructures segment operates natural gas transportation, storage, and distribution networks; and LNG terminals in France and Germany, as well as sells access rights to its infrastructure to third parties. The GDF SUEZ Energy Services segment designs and implements environmental and energy efficiency solutions through multi-technical services in the fields of engineering, installations, and energy services. The company was formerly known as GDF SUEZ SA and changed its name to ENGIE SA in April 2015. ENGIE SA was founded in 1880 and is headquartered in Courbevoie, France.

Engie Appoints Edouard Neviaski as Executive Vice President of Energy Management and Trading

Engie has appointed Edouard Neviaski as executive vice president of energy management and trading. Edouard Neviaski started his career with Societe Generale in commodities trading. He was appointed CEO of Gaselys, the energy trading joint-venture of Gaz de France and Societe Generale, when created in 2001. He then held the position of Global Head of Commodities Markets within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking from 2006 to 2012. In 2012, he was named CEO of GDF SUEZ Trading, which combined the trading teams of Gaselys and Electrabel. Energy Management & Trading is responsible for the management of ENGIE's asset portfolio in continental Europe, with the role to ensure competitive energy for the group's customers.

ENGIE and Beijing Enterprise Group Sign Contract to Supply LNG to Beijing City and an Expand Cooperation Agreement

ENGIE and Beijing Enterprise Group signed contract to supply LNG to Beijing City and an Expand Cooperation Agreement. On the basis of this Agreement, ENGIE and BEG are willing to carry out cooperation in the areas of ENGIE will provide BEG two LNG carriers to meet Beijing City s natural gas needs in winter, the first delivery will be in November and the second in January. ENGIE and BEG are willing to make Co-investment and carry out cooperation in some major energy projects in China. ENGIE is willing to accompany the international development of BEG. The two parties will indentify some natural gas liquefaction projects in third party countries and make Co-investment. The Agreement also reiterates the common vision of the two Groups to enlarge cooperation under the internationalization context.

ENGIE and China Investment Corporation Sign on Memorandum of Understanding

On the occasion of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's visit to France, Gerard Mestrallet, Chairman and CEO of ENGIE, signed a MOU with Ding Xuedong, Chairman and CEO of China Investment Corporation in Paris. Through their new agreement, ENGIE and CIC reinforce their cooperation in the following areas: Co-investment in large energy projects, particularly renewable energy projects in fast developing countries, Cooperation in new technologies and in energy efficiency fields, especially in China. The cooperation between ENGIE and CIC started in 2011. It was marked by the establishment of a fruitful shareholder relationship in ENGIE's exploration and production activities in which CIC holds a 30% ownership interest.
