GDF SUEZ SA engages in power, natural gas, and energy services businesses. The company operates through five segments: GDF SUEZ Energy International, GDF SUEZ Energy Europe, GDF SUEZ Global Gas & LNG, GDF SUEZ Infrastructures, and GDF SUEZ Energy Services. The GDF SUEZ Energy International segment produces and markets power in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and the Middle East, as well as distributes and markets gas in North America, Latin America, Asia, and Turkey. This segment is also involved in liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and regasification activities in North America and Chile; and seawater desalination in the Arabian Peninsula. The GDF SUEZ Energy Europe segment produces electricity and sells energy in Europe. This segment generates electricity through hydropower, wind power, solar energy, biomass, geothermal, nuclear energy, coal, and fuel oil. The GDF SUEZ Global Gas & LNG segment explores, develops, and operates oil and gas fields; manages gas supply contract portfolio and interests in liquefaction facilities; operates an LNG fleet; and owns regasification capacities in LNG terminals. The GDF SUEZ Infrastructures segment operates natural gas transportation, storage, and distribution networks; and LNG terminals in France and Germany, as well as sells access rights to its infrastructure to third parties. The GDF SUEZ Energy Services segment designs and implements environmental and energy efficiency solutions through multi-technical services in the fields of engineering, installations, and energy services. GDF SUEZ SA was founded in 1880 and is headquartered in Courbevoie, France.

GDF Suez SA Announces Executive Changes

GDF Suez SA announced that Friday Yves Le Gelard has joined as chief information officer replacing Veronique Durand-Charlot who will take on new roles in the group's transformation. Most recently Le Gelard was head of consulting and projects in Europe at SAP AG.

GDF SUEZ S.A. Appoints Judith Hartmann as Executive Vice President and CFO

GDF SUEZ S.A. has appointed Judith Hartmann as executive vice president and CFO. She joined the group in early February, serving as special advisor to Gerard Mestrallet. This new appointment shows Gerard Mestrallet's commitment to continue the internationalization of the Management Committee to further reflect the Group's presence in over 70 countries. Judith Hartmann's mission will be to support the accelerated implementation of the GDF SUEZ business strategy. Since 2013 member of the Board of Directors of Penguin Random House LLC, of Gruner & Jahr AG & Co KG.

GDF SUEZ Announces Executive Changes

Pierre Mongin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the RATP Group will join GDF SUEZ on May 1, 2015 as Executive Vice President. He will be appointed General Secretary on July 1, 2015, replacing Alain Chaigneau, who, wishing to claim his pension rights, will be appointed Special Advisor to Gerard Mestrallet on the same date.
