Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. designs, manufactures, and distributes products to the oil and natural gas industry in the United States and internationally. The company operates in two segments, Drilling & Subsea, and Production & Infrastructure. The Drilling & Subsea segment designs and manufactures products, and provides related services to the subsea construction, drilling, well construction, completion, and intervention markets. This segment also offers subsea technologies, including robotic vehicles and other capital equipment, specialty components and tooling, complementary subsea technical services and rental items, and applied products for subsea pipelines; drilling technologies consisting of capital equipment and a line of products consumed in the drilling and well intervention process; and down hole technologies comprising cementing and casing tools, completion products, and down hole protection solutions. The Production & Infrastructure segment designs and manufactures products, and provides related equipment and services to the well stimulation, production, and infrastructure markets. This segment supplies flow equipment, such as well stimulation consumable products, and related recertification and refurbishment services; production equipment, including well site production equipment and process equipment; and valve solutions comprising a range of industrial and process valves. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of $284.4 million against $428.3 million last year. Operating income was $22.4 million against $65.8 million last year. Profit before income taxes was $10.8 million against $55.0 million last year. Net income attributable to common stockholders was $8.9 million against $39.6 million last year. Basic and diluted earnings per share were $0.10 against diluted earnings per share of $0.41 last year. Total EBITDA was $34.8 million against $79.0 million last year. The company lowered estimated annual effective tax rate to 25% from the prior estimate of 27% as it continued to see a greater decline in U.S. profits relative to international operations, in line with a steeper decline in U.S. activity levels.
