It operates through Property Development, Construction Contracts, Property Services, and Parking Services segments. The Property Services segment provides various property services, including general services, facility management, project management and consultancy, construction management, energy management, hospital planning, maintenance, and manpower services. The Parking Services segment is engaged in parking operation, trading parking equipment, and providing related consultancy services. Damansara Realty Berhad Announces Amended Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended December 31, 2014

Damansara Realty Berhad announced amended unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2014. The amended results were made in relation to recognition due to reversal of revenue in which in accordance to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards 118 and as advised by the company’s external auditors, the revenue of certain property sales of Damansara Realty (Johor) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, could not be recognised in the unaudited financial period ended 31 December 2014. Nonetheless, in accordance to the same provision of MFRS 118, the recognition of revenue of several of the Said Properties are expected to be recognised in the financial year 2015. The other adjustments include adjustments for the reversal of impairments, accruals of legal fees, under provision of tax expenses and etc. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 61,469,000 against MYR 47,763,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 5,135,000 against operating loss of MYR 3,152,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 2,824,000 against loss before tax of MYR 1,937,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was MYR 458,000 against loss of MYR 1,863,000 a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 855,000 or 0.28 sen per basic share against MYR 1,006,000 or 0.33 sen per basic share a year ago. The higher profit after tax in the current quarter was mainly due to revenue recognition from property development. For the year, the company reported revenue of MYR 198,614,000 against MYR 184,254,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 7,939,000 against MYR 16,356,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was MYR 1,224,000 against profit before tax of MYR 10,201,000 a year ago. Loss for the period was MYR 4,505,000 against profit of MYR 8,950,000 a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 6,080,000 or 1.97 sen per basic share against profit attributable to owners of the parent of MYR 9,335,000 or 3.02 sen per basic share a year ago. Net cash generated from operating activities was MYR 16,501,000 against MYR 4,174,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 7,351,000 against MYR 3,127,000 a year ago. The cumulative quarter revenue is 7.79% higher due to revenue recognition from property development of MYR 10.29 million.

Damansara Realty Bhd reported un-audited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 77.7 million compared to MYR 47.8 million, operating profit of MYR 14.1 million compared to operating loss of MYR 3.2 million, profit before tax of MYR 12.0 million compared to loss before tax of MYR 1.9 million and profit attributable to owner of the parent of MYR 6.5 million or 2.01 sen per basic share compared to loss attributable to owner of the parent of MYR 1.0 million or 0.66 sen per basic share for the last year. The higher profit before tax in the current quarter was mainly due to revenue recognition resulting from early adoption of IFRS 15 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers. For the year, the company reported revenue of MYR 214.8 million compared to MYR 184.3 million, operating profit of MYR 16.9 million compared to operating loss of MYR 16.4 million, profit before tax of MYR 7.9 million compared to MYR 10.2 million and profit attributable to owner of the parent of MYR 1.3 million or 0.32 sen per basic share compared to MYR 8.3 million or 2.83 sen per basic share for the last year. Net assets per share attributable to owners of the company of MYR 0.408 as on December 31, 2014 compared to MYR 0.407 as on December 31, 2013. Net cash generated from operating activities was MYR 16.5 million compared to MYR 4.2 million and purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 7.4 million compared to MYR 3.1 million for the last year. The cummulative quarter revenue is 16.6% higher due to revenue recognition from property development of MYR 25.4 million (2013: NIL).

Damansara Realty Bhd reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 45.286 million compared to MYR 46.893 million a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 0.345 million compared to MYR 0.708 million a year ago. Loss before tax was MYR 1,953,000 compared to loss before tax of MYR 1.692 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 2.543 million or 0.82 sen per basic share compared to loss attributable to owners of the parent of MYR 2.309 million or MYR 0.75 per basic share a year ago. Net assets per share attributable to owners of the company was MYR 0.390 against MYR 0.407 as at December 31, 2013.
