Defiance Silver Corp. Reports Drilling Results from San Acacio Deposit

Defiance Silver Corp. reported the results from a further three holes drilled at the San Acacio deposit. Drilling continues to prove that mineralization continues at depth and along strike beyond the current resource at both wide widths and strong grades. Detailed assaying of geochemical anomalies in Hole SAD 15-07 produced intersections of 3.6m grading 223 g/t AgEq, and 2.4 m grading 222.08 g/t AgEq. This is a new vein in the Hanging Wall in addition to the lower San Acacio vein intersection, of 7.4m grading 264.54 g/t AgEq within an overall vein intersection of 21.1m grading 130.6 g/t AgEq. Hole SAD15-06 returned two wide vein intersections of 7.3m and 11.5m on a hanging wall and San Acacio veins respectively. Both Hole SAD15-06 and SAD 15-07 were drilled beneath the lower limits of the current resource and will further increase the resource.

Defiance Commences Drilling at San Acacio Silver Deposit

Defiance Silver Corp. announced the start of a 1,500m drill program on the San Acacio silver deposit in the historic Zacatecas Silver District in Mexico. The drill program is focused on expanding the current resource of 17.9 million oz AgEq contained in 2.902 mt grading 192.5 g/t AgEq. Drilling will build upon the recent discovery of significant silver and base metal mineralization below the limits of the current resource. The focus continues to be on the lowest risk/highest reward portion of the exploration potential at San Acacio by drilling along the 1.0 kilometer of old workings. Mineralization is open both to depth and along strike.

Defiance Step-Out Drilling Extends Wide Zones of Mineralization

Defiance Silver Corp. reported that results from a further three holes drilled in its Phase I core drilling program on the San Acacio deposit have extended the wide, high grade mineralization encountered in the first three holes eastward by 100m. Phase I is designed to test for a continuation of mineralization at depth and along strike beyond the current resource and the workings of the past producing San Acacio mine. Holes SAD14-04 and SAD14-07 intersected the San Acacio vein over wide widths of high grade mineralization. These results extend by 100 meters to the SE the area of high grade mineralization intersected by the Company's initial three holes. All five holes are below the limit of the existing resource and, will further increase the existing resource. Additionally, routine geochemical sampling defined highly anomalous values over 20m in the upper part of hole SAD15-07 which will be systematically sampled and assayed. Although the Phase I drill program was primarily designed to test for the extension of the San Acacio vein, Hole SAD15-8 also intersected high grade mineralization grading 674 g/t AgEq over a width of 7.25m in a possible extension of the Navidad vein. Additional work is required to further define this exciting newly identified wide high grade mineralized structure.
